The TESLA brand was created and registered in 2002, but long before that
the Kim family was making pickups, as a matter of fact since 1972 when
the father of the current CEO started this business in his house!
We are dedicated to the Music Industry, specifically to the Musician
that plays stringed instruments, guitars, basses even banjos. All these
instruments have something in common, they use a pickup. The TESLA
R&D team with many years of experience created classical and
innovative pickups that the working players asked for and in turn
received the best possible product from us!!
At TESLA we are committed to produce the best and nothing but the best
pickups for the working musician, the student, the connoisseur of
stringed music, for all and anyone we pledge that we strive to be
innovative, to be current, to be ahead of technology, to be committed,

The current TESLA team is truly multi-national with many years of
experience creating the sounds for musicians; we work on 2 continents
and have just recently expanded our facilities to North America.
